Pre-Surgical Evaluation

Prior to surgery, the patient receives a number of tests:

  • Audiological tests (pure tone audiometry, speech discrimination)
  • Imaging (CT or MRI) to assess cochlear structure

  • Sutures are taken out in 7–10 days.
