Dr. Amit Kumar Chaurasia. Best cardio doctor in Delhi, is an Alumnus of three of the best Institutes in India. He graduated from JIPMER (Pondicherry), did his MD in Internal Medicine from AIIMS (New Delhi), and DM (Cardiology) from SCTIMST (Trivandrum). Subsequently, he did his Fellowship in Complex coronary and Structural Heart Disease from GOKI, Budapest (Hungary), where he worked for about three years.

Dr. Chaurasia is a dedicated interventional cardiologist with vast experience in Adult, Paediatric, and Peripheral interventions. He is nationally and internationally recognized for his work in the field of Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation/Replacement (TAVI/TAVR). He is one of the first proctors for TAVI in India. He has to his credit one of the highest numbers of TAVI/TAVR procedures in India (more than 1000). He has also performed Transcatheter Pulmonary Valve Replacement (TPVR) in the smallest conduit in India. He also performs Transcatheter mitral Valve Replacements (TMVR) and has a special interest in BMV and Mitra-clip as well. He also has more than 50 left atrial appendage closures to his credit. He has been course director, course co-director, and faculty for many national and international conferences and has helped train many doctors in these procedures in India and Abroad. He is one of the best cardiologists in India.

Apart from TAVI, he is an expert in complex coronary interventions like Left main intervention, chronic total occlusion (CTO), and other complex procedures and regularly conducts workshops at various places. He has performed more than 10,000 cardiac procedures to date. He also performs ASD, VSD, PDA, pulmonary AV fistula device closures.
